Senior Transport Planner

We are currently looking for a Senior Transport Planner, with experience in the industry, to join our expanding team.
​
Location: Ringwood, Hampshire
Salary: Competitive salary
Contract: Full time, Permanent
​
This is your opportunity to join our engineering and transportation consultancy and be involved in a diverse range of interesting and challenging projects from small residential schemes to large mixed-use developments.
The duties will include the following:

Obtaining, analysing and interpreting traffic data.
-
Reviewing development sites with regard to their accessibility by a range of transport modes.
-
Assisting the Directors and Associates in the preparation of Transport Assessments/Statements and Travel Plans.
-
Calculate traffic generation using the TRICS database.
-
Undertaking junction capacity assessments using industry standard software such as Junctions 9 & LinSig.
-
Undertaking site visits.
-
Liaising with clients and other disciplines within the Project team.
Key skills and experience:
-
A formal education in either Civil Engineering, Transport Planning orGeography.
-
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
-
Excellent communication skills, to liaise with colleagues and clients.
-
Ability to work within a team and also able to work under own initiative.
-
Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise workload.
-
Accuracy and good attention to detail.

CAD Technician

We are currently looking for a CAD Technician, with experience in the industry, to join our expanding team.
​
Location: Ringwood, Hampshire

This is your opportunity to join our engineering and transportation consultancy and be involved in a diverse range of interesting and challenging projects from small residential schemes to large mixed-use developments.
The duties will include the following:

Assisting the Directors and Associates alongside the design team to produce drawings for a range of highway and drainage schemes.

Utilise AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings, plans and layouts for highway scheme, to include vehicular accesses and visibility splays.

Undertake swept path analysis.
-
Incorporate design changes and revisions as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness of drawings.

Coordinate with other members of the design team.
Key skills and experience:

Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
-
Good understanding of civil engineering principles and practices related to highway design.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
-
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
-
Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise workload.
