CAD Technician

We are currently looking for a CAD Technician, with experience in the industry, to join our expanding team.

This is your opportunity to join our engineering and transportation consultancy and be involved in a diverse range of interesting and challenging projects from small residential schemes to large mixed-use developments.

The duties will include the following:

• Assisting the Directors and Associates alongside the design team to produce drawings for a range of highway and drainage schemes.

• Utilise AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings, plans and layouts for highway scheme, to include vehicular accesses and visibility splays.

• Undertake swept path analysis.

• Incorporate design changes and revisions as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness of drawings.

• Coordinate with other members of the design team.

Key skills and experience:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.

• Good understanding of civil engineering principles and practices related to highway design.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.

• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise workload.
