Ian Roberts
Director
Ian has 40 years professional experience and is a Director at Bellamy Roberts.
He holds a diploma in Civil Engineering and is a member of CIHT. He advises clients in relation to traffic impact, multi-modal accessibility, highway engineering and issues of sustainability. He has a wide experience in the presentation of expert advice at Public Inquiry, as well as Magistrates and Crown Court.
As a Director, Ian leads teams involved in the preparation of Transport Assessments and Statement, Environmental Assessments (Transport), negotiation of highway agreements and preliminary highway design for private and public sector clients. His other responsibilities include financial and quality control of projects, client liaison and formulation of advice.
Matt Twinberrow
Associate Director
Matt has 10 years professional experience. He has a Batchelor of Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and is a member of the CIHT.
He has experience advising public and private sector clients on matters relating to traffic impact, highway engineering, flood risk, multi-modal accessibility, issues of sustainability, access designs, off-site highway improvements and on-site road designs related to development proposals for all types of land-use. He has experience as an expert highway witness.
Graham Bellamy
Consultant
Graham has over 40 years professional experience and is a Chartered Engineer.
He has worked for major private and public sector clients on traffic and transport studies, access designs, off-site highway improvements and on-site road designs usually related to development proposals. Wide experience of major projects and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Particularly extensive experience as an expert witness. Familiarity with current traffic analysis programs and modelling techniques, including Saturn, Vissim, Linsig, Junction 9 etc., public transport priority measures, sustainable transport and modal shift issues, highway design, safety audit requirements etc. Familiar with current highway and planning legislation.
